The recipient of a doctorate of law from Wake Forest University, part of which was completed at Oxford University in England, Krispen Culbertson balances a successful career as an attorney with a commitment to a range of nonprofit organizations. He currently serves as the North American chairman of the Children’s Burns Trust, a global charity based in the United Kingdom. Additionally, Krispen Culbertson is a member of the international committee for A Heart for Russia, a nonprofit group that raises funds for more than 5 million homeless, orphaned, or otherwise displaced children in the country.
Professionally, Mr. Culbertson leads Culbertson & Associates, a private law practice headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina. Over the years, he has achieved successful verdicts in numerous notable trials, including North Carolina v. Jeffrey McFayden, and has argued cases in the Federal Court and the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals that appear in the Federal Law Reports. Recently, he has transitioned his practice focus to the area of international family law, with a particular emphasis on international child custody and abduction.
