Abhi Rahman is a political research and communications strategist with more than a decade of experience. He prepared for his career in political services by earning a bachelor's degree in political science from Colorado State University. This led to him landing a position as an organizing and press fellow with Organizing for America. There, Abhi Rahman assisted in former president Barack Obama's successful reelection campaign, working at canvassing events, managing media lists, and phone banking.
Abhi Rahman went on to attend George Mason University's Schar School of Policy and Government, earning a master's degree in public policy with a focus on political communications. While attending graduate school, he also held the title of graduate research and press fellow at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in Washington, DC. In this role, he developed skills employing software, such as STATA, Wordpress, and Lexis-Nexis, for political solutions. He also completed a range of tasks, from coding internal Wikipedia pages on behalf of the entire agency, to serving as deputy to the chief of staff for the office of research with the goal of improving management and performance practices.
