An MBA graduate of Harvard University, Abraham Abdallah balances a busy career as owner and manager of a group of groceries and laundromats with a commitment to philanthropic initiatives. As the manager of HOPE, Abraham Abdallah guides a nonprofit organization that purchases gift cards and donates them to individuals facing difficult circumstances. Additionally, HOPE operates a “Dear Santa” letter-writing campaign that responds to children’s Christmas-wish letters each year.
Professionally, Abraham Abdallah has led a network of grocery stores for nearly three decades. Operating under the Key Food, Met Fresh, and Food Town names, the supermarkets generate more than $500 million in revenue each year and employ over 300 workers. Since 2010, Mr. Abdallah has also led a chain of 40 laundromats operating under the Wash and Fold Super Laundry name. He gives back to the community through his professional efforts as well, donating more than 1,000 pounds of forgotten clothing items to charities each month and offering free wash-and-dry services to members of underserved communities.
Outside of his professional life, Mr. Abdallah pursues a diverse range of hobbies that includes learning about new technologies and visiting the gun range. An auto enthusiast, he also enjoys driving race cars.
