While studying material science and geologic engineering at Cornell University, Adam Victor gained admittance to the Phi Kappa Phi academic honor society and played on Cornell’s NCAAA championship lacrosse team. He earned his bachelor of science in 1974 and subsequently matriculated at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania to obtain a master of business administration with an emphasis in strategic planning. Adam Victor’s areas of graduate and postgraduate expertise include the protection of energy sector infrastructure from political terrorism and the shift from petroleum exploration to the mining of critical exotic minerals.
Building upon decades of entrepreneurial experience in the drilling and mining industries, Adam Victor has served as the president and chief executive officer of TransGas Development Systems since 2005. Under his direction, TransGas concentrates primarily on coal gasification and other energy development projects. Mr. Victor also maintains his longstanding focus on the hardening of infrastructure to resist terrorist attacks and other manmade disasters.
