Based in Northern California, Alan E. Brooker, PhD, is a respected clinical psychologist and clinical and forensic neuropsychologist with a military background. From 1973 to 1977, while working toward a master’s degree at California State University, Sacramento, Alan E. Brooker served as an active reservist and liaison officer with the Air Force Academy. His efforts resulted in 18 qualified individuals being selected for West Point and the Air Force Academy.
Dr. Brooker has extensive academic experience. He taught more than two dozen undergraduate and graduate psychology courses through the Chapman Extension College in South Lake Tahoe. He also led courses as adjunct professor through the University of Maryland’s Overseas Extension Program in West Germany. Working within the California State University, Sacramento’s Physical Therapy Degree Program in the mid 1990s, he additionally instructed students in Psychosocial Aspects of Physical Disability.
Since 1993, Dr. Brooker has served as a medical expert, consulting with the Sacramento Superior and Municipal Courts. Alan E. Brooker is also a longtime commissioner and consultant with the State of California’s Boards of Psychology and Medical Quality Assurance.
