Alesia Watson has two decades of leadership experience with aid-focused organizations. As the former acting executive director of the Atlantic City Housing Authority, Alesia Watson spent seven years overseeing all department functions.
She was also responsible for preparing reports and annual budgets. Following this, she was the program director of the New Jersey-based Youth Advocate Program, where she oversaw all local programs. While there, Ms. Watson was responsible for hiring and training administrative staff and direct service professionals.
She also identified and capitalized on new opportunities for the organization to grow. After two years in the role, she joined the Ocean City and Brick Housing Authority, where she spent four years as executive director. During this time, she acted as the board’s secretary while also preparing organizational and annual reports.
As director, she oversaw a $3 million rental assistance program, alongside a $4.5 million redevelopment housing portfolio. Since 2018, Alesia Watson has served as a network distribution representative with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey.
