Drawing upon 28 years of experience, Alex Ramadanis is an educator who has taught at various levels in the education system throughout his career, but has primarily worked as a vocational and special education teacher. Alex Ramadanis has also coached athletic teams, served as an athletic director, and held administrative roles, such as testing coordinator and dean of students. Since 2012, he has also worked as an adjunct special education professor at Queens College where, in addition to leading lectures and coursework, he regularly meets with students to discuss academic issues.
Alex Ramadanis completed dual certification in special education and childhood education at Touro College in 2003, and previously received a master's degree in school administration, supervision, and leadership from the school. He also holds a bachelor's degree in occupational education from New York City Technical College and is certified in CPR and Automated External Defibrillation.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Mr. Ramadanis has been a volunteer firefighter with the Nyack Fire Department for 14 years.
