Alexandra The Great 48 is a former renowned burlesque star who worked in the beauty industry up until her death in 2019. In this regard, she developed a range of beauty products both for her own use and to advance her career in pursuits that didn't involve her body. Before creating her own products, she worked as a beautician at Universal Studios. Prior to that, Alexandra The Great 48 performed burlesque shows at prominent night clubs, theaters, and hotels for more than a dozen years.

Primarily performing alongside other major stars in the burlesque world like April March, Tempest Storm, and Sally Rand, she headlined shows around the world and garnered extended contracts in destinations like Hawaii. At one point, while working in Honolulu, she stopped traffic by attracting more than 3,000 people when she showcased her 48-25-42 figure in one of her show costumes. Her foray into the world of burlesque was facilitated by Rose La Rose, who discovered her at age 25 and soon after had her headlining shows at The Town Hall Theater.
