I am an advocate for students in higher education to connect and partake with community involvement while gaining valuable experience through internships and co-ops. While having a college education or certificate in trade are valued in today’s economy, having experience in the world of work that’s related to your career goals are just as important.
I am successful at tracking pertinent employment data and engaging alumni for career related student opportunities and future degree seekers. I encourage students that it is never too early to start focusing on their career aspirations by empowering them in the learning process of crafting a strong resume, cover letter, and begin making valuable connections that can last a lifetime.
My goal is to help facilitate and connect students to gain reliable information regarding topics within career and co-op that range from – but not limited to:
• Career Exploration
• Co-op and Internships Opportunities
• Part-time Jobs
• Job Search Strategies
• Resume and Cover Letter Writing
• Interviewing Skills
• Planning for Graduate School
