For nearly a decade, Alon Barzilay has served as founder and CEO of Barzilay Development. In that role, Alon Barzilay guides a leading real estate development firm that specializes in repurposing urban buildings that have a rich and storied history. Utilizing innovative methods, the company works to incorporate the historic elements of each building into a new, modern design catered to multifamily living.
Prior to entering the workforce, Mr. Barzilay completed his undergraduate studies at the ILR School of Cornell University, earning a bachelor of science in management and organizational behavior. He went on to complete his graduate work at Harvard, where he earned a master’s in housing and real estate development. Active in the entrepreneurial field outside of his everyday executive work, he belongs to the New York City and Philadelphia chapters of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization and was the recipient of its 2017 Agents of Change award.
