A dedicated philanthropist in Belvidere, New Jersey, Amannda Richline supports a wide range of community and animal rescue efforts. She maintains her own parrot rescue organization under the name Sy’s Piece of Heaven, which cares for birds removed from home settings due to medical issues, neglect, death of the previous owner, and other reasons. Amannda Richline founded the original nonprofit in 2008 in Easton, Pennsylvania, and later opened a second location after her relocation to New Jersey.
Her involvement in animal welfare also extends beyond the nonprofit through assistance with adoption efforts for homeless dogs and cats. She spent one Thanksgiving by attending to the medical needs of feral cats beneath the boardwalk on Seaside Beach in New Jersey. Richline and her husband joined a group of volunteers who captured the cats and transported them to a local veterinarian for care before returning them to the boardwalk.
In addition to her involvement in animal welfare, Richline participates in numerous community activities and programs. She raised funds for the Special Olympics through participation in the Polar Bear Plunge, an event in which participants enter a body of freezing water in support of various charitable causes. Additionally, she helped with Halloween Candy Buy Back Program by enabling children to trade in their Halloween candy for money. Collected candies are donated to the Warren Haven Nursing Home.
