The co-founder of RAK Equity Partners in Houston, Texas, Amir Mortazavi invests financially in a range of businesses and helps those businesses manage daily operations and initiate relevant growth initiatives. RAK’s portfolio of companies spans a number of industries, including energy services and infrastructure, healthcare services, logistics, and technology. Amir Mortazavi’s current responsibilities include advising the board of ZT Corporate and sitting on the board of Ruckit, Inc. Since 2009, he has also served as the president of AM Healthcare Holdings, a healthcare venture capital and operating company with offices in Houston and Dallas.

Outside of the professional environment, Amir Mortazavi enjoys heading outdoors to hunt near his hometown of Dallas. He is also an avid skier, practitioner of martial arts, and connoisseur of wines and cigars. In an effort to give back to the communities that support him, Mr. Mortazavi volunteers with charitable organizations that range from the American Red Cross to Phoenix House.
