An accomplished administrator with a wealth of experience in college admissions and fundraising development, Amy Kennelly Viellieu holds a bachelor of science in industrial management from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. After graduating, she accepted a position with the IBM Corporation. Working out of Indianapolis, Los Angeles, and New York City, Amy Kennelly Viellieu served five years as a representative in IBM’s national marketing and accounts division. She went on to serve in sales consultant positions with the Los Angeles offices of Lynne Deutch and Corporate Creations.
Amy Kennelly entered the field of education in 2006 as the president of the Benefit Board of North Shore Country Day School (NSCDS) in the Chicago suburb of Winnetka, Illinois. She remained with NSCDS for seven years, serving in a range of administrative posts with a focus on both operations and fundraising. After leaving NSCDS, she began evaluating scholarships with the Posse Foundation and also with the Daniel Murphy Scholarship Fund. She continues to work with the Posse Foundation today.
