Andrew Allis is a Madison, CT, resident who has an extensive background in the real estate and freight transportation industries. As YRC Worldwide, Inc., account executive, he was responsible for coordinating nationwide freight shipping sales among a range of operating companies. For many years, Andrew Allis held a similar position with New England Motor Freight in Meriden, CT, where he was successful in expanding existing accounts and generating new territory growth.
Mr. Allis began his professional career in the mid-1980s as assistant pastor with the Assembly of God Church in Old Saybrook. His responsibilities there included teaching, preaching, and church management, and he also planned and structured worship services. He subsequently spent 6 years as a Century 21 owner and broker, overseeing the full spectrum of operations, from recruiting to advertising.
Mr. Allis maintains a strong community presence and volunteers locally with the Branford Food Pantry and the Goodwill Store. Having excelled in sports as a Shoreline Tennis Championship winner while in high school, he still enjoys activities such as swimming and playing tennis in his free time. He also attends theological conferences on a regular basis.
