A graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Andrew Muc holds a bachelor of science in commerce and engineering with a concentration in accounting. He subsequently found employment as an audit staff member with the Philadelphia public accounting house BDO Seidman. After building upon his professional accounting experience with additional firms in both Philadelphia and Devon, Andrew Muc obtained official CPA credentials through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in 2000. He went on to serve four years as an accounting supervisor with Iron Mountain, a data storage and records management company.
Andrew Muc joined the accounting team at Princeton, New Jersey’s NRG Energy in 2004 as a manager of the multi-state power company’s Northeast Region. For the past seven years, Mr. Muc has overseen the coordination of all general accounting month-end closing processes as NRG’s manager of corporate accounting. This position requires the review of comprehensive company consolidated equity, consolidated debt, and deferred finance cost roll-forward reports.
