An established New Jersey entrepreneur, Andrew “Andy” Choffo holds responsibilities as vice president of human resources with the land surveying firm Control Point Associates. His responsibilities center on recruiting and helping select job applicants, and he also manages benefits, compensation, and performance-based programs. Andy Choffo emphasizes the implementation of HR and business resources strategies that boost business results.

Andrew Choffo previously spent five years as HR director with Hapag-Lloyd (America), LLC, in Piscataway, New Jersey. In his position with the international transportation firm, he supported 50 union and 1,000 nonunion employees spanning Canada and the United States. A core focus was implementing a corporate culture that enhanced efficiency and individual development and created strong employee morale. He also guided the HR aspects of a 2017/18 merger between Hapag-Lloyd and the United Arab Shipping Company.

Committed to serving his community, Mr. Choffo has been an elected member of the Parsippany-Troy Hills Board of Education since 2005. Andy Choffo also maintains longstanding membership in the Society for Human Resource Management.
