Born and educated in Colombo, Sri Lanka, Anura Perera fostered a career that would take him to Singapore and other locations around the world. His high-tech and energy sector projects build upon decades of experience as a business executive and project manager in fields that range from aeronautics to civil engineering. Anura Perera holds active membership in the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and is a past member of the Institution of Incorporated Engineers, the Association of Supervisory and Executive Engineers, and the Institution of Engineering and Technology.

Before embarking on his current business pursuits in the Far East, Mr. Perera established a precision-tool machinery company that made supply seals and other metal components to meet the needs of the oil and gas sectors. In the early 2000s, he founded a similar company in Singapore that manufactured precision-machined components for the aerospace industry. Mr. Perera began his career as a sales and maintenance professional with Caterpillar in Zambia.
