A leadership consultant and nonprofit leader, Dr. Ari Betof serves as the president of Organizational Sustainability Consulting, LLC, in Brookline, Massachusetts. In this position, he leverages his extensive leadership and governance experience to assist nonprofit organizations, colleges, independent schools, and membership organizations to achieve sustainable business practices.
Dr. Betof provided mentorship through the School Leadership Program for Harvard University's Graduate School of Education and is a lecturer for the University of Pennsylvania's Graduate School of Education. Previously, Dr. Betof served as head of school of Boston University Academy and New Garden Friends School and held various roles at George School, including director of institutional advancement.
Dr. Betof holds a doctorate in educational leadership from the University of Pennsylvania. He earned his bachelor's in physics and mathematics from the Guilford College Honors Program.
He has been a frequent speaker at the annual conference for the National Association of Independent Schools. Dr. Betof has sat on several nonprofit boards and has been asked to present and facilitate working sessions at numerous national and regional conferences on the topics of financial sustainability and organizational stewardship.
