A resident of Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Ashwin Nambiar has a broad history of medical practice as a radiologist, fellow, resident, and intern in multiple states. While working toward his doctor of medicine at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, he contributed to research projects for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Dr. Ashwin Nambiar subsequently moved to Brooklyn, New York, where he completed an internship in transitional medicine at the Maimonides Medical Center and a residency in radiology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University.
Dr. Nambiar went on to study and work for a year as a combined body/imaging informatics fellow with the University of Maryland in Baltimore. Relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area in the late 2010s, he performed stereotactic/ultrasound-guided mammography procedures and arthrograms and fluoroscopic studies as a radiologist with AMN Staff Care in San Francisco and the Veteran's Administration in Menlo Park, California. Since 2019, Dr. Ashwin Nambiar has been pursuing a master of science in healthcare delivery at the Arizona State University Downtown Phoenix Campus.
