Babak Bamdad is a respected New York professional who engages as chief and director of Lincoln Hospital’s Pharmacy Department. He guides the full range of pharmacy operations encompassing productivity, quality, and performance functions. Undertaking employee performance reviews on an annual basis, Babak Bamdad oversees hiring and scheduling, and manages disciplinary and corrective actions.

In the position since 2010, Mr. Bamdad achieved leadership responsibilities only six months after joining the hospital as night pharmacist-in-charge. Within a year, he had established three retail pharmacy operations in accordance with state and federal regulatory requirements.

Mr. Bamdad studied Talmudic law at the Ner Israel Rabbinical College in Baltimore and completed a degree in biochemistry and molecular biology at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He subsequently received his doctor of pharmacy from Long Island University and achieved a Preceptor Award and the Pharmacy Residency Excellence Award.
