Over the past decade, Barsheem Chapman has been involved with several organizations, such as Chapman’s Management Company (CMC). Having established the company in 2013, Barsheem Chapman was responsible for identifying and acquiring new contracts from state, local, and federal services.

At the firm, he specializes in management services geared toward childcare and primary care. The company also provides addiction treatment, alongside behavioral and mental health services. In managing contracts, Mr. Chapman oversees a project’s entire lifecycle.

As a result, he is involved in the provision of deliverables and any potential follow-ups. During this time, he has established the It Takes a Village Child Care and Educational Center, CMC’s primary facility. At the center, he not only serves as director but takes a hands-on approach to work, such as serving as a van driver and cook.

Barsheem Chapman also has extensive experience in philanthropy. In 2007, he founded a community development firm that works with educational centers. Through this, he is involved with the Omega Academy.
