A graduate of the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania, Otis Benjamin “Ben” Young of Washington, DC, received an MBA in business. During business school, he met fellow entrepreneur Gregory Coleman, with whom he created Nexercise Inc. and NexTrack, a fitness tracker that offered rewards for physical activity. Washington, DC-based Benjamin “Ben” Young, and Gregory Coleman then acquired the app Sworkit, which married their passion for fitness and technology to help users find unique workouts that fit their schedules and goals.
Today, Sworkit has more than 30 million combined downloads and an average rating of 4.7 stars on Apple. Former CEO, Otis Benjamin Young now serves as Chief Innovation Officer, overseeing product design and strategy for the firm. An active mentor with The Founder Institute, he also regularly attends The Habit Summit, an annual gathering of leaders in the fields of behavioral science, consumer psychology, and design.
Outside of work, Mr. Young enjoys reading books about behavioral psychology and practicing Krav Maga.
