An honors graduate of the University of Michigan, Bethany Palmer Recht was a standout student who served as a Detroit Project site leader and a member of the scholarship committee for Sigma Kappa sorority. After completing her undergraduate degree, Bethany Recht began studying law at the University of Toledo before ultimately completing her juris doctor at Northwestern University School of Law, where she served as an alumni interviewer and as the travel chair for International Team Project Chile.

While completing her law degree at Northwestern, Bethany Palmer Recht served as a summer associate with Weil, Gotshal & Manges in Boston, and in 2005 she joined the firm as an associate attorney in the complex commercial litigation section. Two years later, she moved across the country to accept a position as a litigation attorney with DLA Piper, LLP, in Los Angeles, where she handled a wide range of commercial litigation. Among other notable cases, she led the firm’s involvement in a multi-million-dollar case involving lender liability and fraud.

Bethany Recht draws upon this experience in her current role as a partner with Keating Muething & Klekamp PLL in Cincinnati, Ohio. There, she primarily focuses on settlement administration, settlement funds, and matters related to mass torts. Named a Rising Star by Super Lawyers, she is admitted to practice in California, Massachusetts, and Ohio.
