Bjorn Iooss, a New York native, holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in photography from the Rhode Island School of Design. A freelance photographer based in Manhattan, his focus is in both portraiture and fashion. Bjorn Iooss has traveled worldwide for his photography, to locations that include Kenya, Israel, Costa Rica, Vietnam, Panama, and across Europe amongst others.

Inspired by his sports photographer father, Mr. Iooss began taking photography classes in the sixth grade. His mother, an artist from Holland, moved to New York in her 20s and focused on painting, drawing, and botanical illustration. Bjorn was influenced by both parents as he developed his own unique style of photography. Mr. Iooss’s work has appeared in renowned publications such as Vogue, Vanity Fair, and WSJ Magazine, and received a Platinum and Gold award for portraiture in the 2018 Graphis Photography Annual.
