North Carolina native Bobby Bittner is a first-year student at Life University in Marietta, Georgia, where he is pursuing a doctor of chiropractic. He is particularly interested stem cell therapy for spinal cord repair and preferred cell differentiation and intends to integrate holistic medicinal approaches into his future practice. Prior to enrolling at Life University, Bobby Bittner worked as an underwriting assistant at AmWINS in Morehead City, North Carolina.
Mr. Bittner also holds a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of South Carolina (USC), where he was a member of its varsity swimming team. He represented the USC Gamecocks in six different events during his senior year in 2016 and recorded top-50 finishes in the 50 free, 100 butterfly, and 200 butterfly at the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Championships. He was also a five-time state champion in high school.
When he isn't studying, he enjoys spending time with his blind dog Lily and volunteering to take care of homeless animals. He has made a concerted effort to better the communities in which he has lived since attending USC, where he earned the 2016 Brad Davis SEC Community Service Leader of the Year award.
