An educational leadership doctoral candidate at the College of Saint Elizabeth, Boris Simon builds on 6 years of experience as a teacher and 5 years of experience as a public school principal in Passaic County, New Jersey. His work as an administrator led to significant increases in student attendance rates and reductions in student suspension rates. Boris Simon also engendered general improvements in student behavior and developed beneficial and valuable community relationships.

Mr. Simon has also distinguished himself in the academic area, earning multiple postsecondary degrees with honors. After earning his bachelor of arts in education from William Paterson University and his master of science in educational technology from Ramapo College, he returned to William Paterson to secure a master of arts in educational leadership.

Outside of the academic arena, Boris Simon is a passionate football, basketball, and baseball fan whose favorite teams are the Giants, the Kicks, and the Yankees. He is also a history buff with a particular interest in the rich social and cultural heritage of Atlanta, Georgia.
