Stoughton, MA, resident Brendan McCabe was born in Massachusetts and attended Westborough High School in Westborough, Massachusetts, where he starred as the captain of the basketball team. He went on to attend Westfield State University in nearby Westfield, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in psychology before beginning his career in 2008 as an analyst with the Massachusetts Office of the Inspector General in Boston.

Over the next four years, Mr. McCabe led investigations into potential fraud and waste of public funds while developing investigative skills such as surveillance, interviewing, and data analysis. He built upon this experience in his next position as a due diligence investigator for Fidelity Investments in Smithfield, Rhode Island. In this role, he analyzed financial data, corporate filings, court records, and personal data to create decision-making reports for Fidelity’s business units.

Mr. McCabe draws upon this experience in his current work as the owner of McCabe & Associates, a fully insured and bonded private investigations firm founded by his father. Licensed by the Massachusetts State Police, the firm offers a range of investigative and protective services to individuals, businesses, and corporations, including executive protection services and civil and criminal investigations.
