A financier with over three decades of experience, Bret Reiss is the chief executive officer of Global Capital and Equity in Scottsdale, Arizona. Bret Reiss’ services at the firm range from consultations and advisory to capital procurement and market exposure. In addition to its American office, the firm does business in Ukraine, Hong Kong, Canada, India, and Belgium.
Reiss has facilitated many high-level transactions, such as equity financing for an energy firm and private investments in an environmental company and a San Diego-based technology firm. He has also participated in discussions in the UK, France, and Germany regarding geothermal-energy technology transfers.
He graduated with honors from George Mason University, where he studied music and business. Earlier in his career, he worked at a North Virginia office for RE/MAX, an international real estate corporation. He was among the agency’s first 100 percent producers and was honored for his achievements in Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
Outside of his professional obligations, Reiss enjoys composing music and playing the piano. He also engages in multiple philanthropic activities, including operating a soup kitchen and a food-distribution warehouse for residents in North Virginia.
