The recipient of a bachelor's degree in political science from Auburn University, Brett Alexander Matcheck enrolled in the military upon graduating and served two years as a student pilot in the United States Air Force 80th Operations Support Squadron at Sheppard Air Force Base in Texas. He trained in the T-37B and T-38C alongside student and instructor pilots from more than a dozen allied nations as part of the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training. Brett Matcheck subsequently served four years as an instructor pilot in the 15th Reconnaissance Squadron and flew more than 400 combat support missions as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Brett Alexander Matcheck later served as assistant director of operations with the 20th Bomb Squadron and executive officer with the 2nd Operations Group at Barksdale Air Force Base. Later, as a B-52 flight lead and instructor pilot with the 96th Bomb Squadron, he completed 365 flight hours in 34 combat missions in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. He has earned nearly two dozen Aerial Achievement Medals as well as the Air Force Commendation Medal and Meritorious Service Medal.
Mr. Matcheck concurrently serves as liaison to customers with the United States Air Force Reserves and leader of the customer service division for the North American market at RAS Systems. In the latter role, he develops synergistic solutions to support company growth and ensure its competitive market advantage.
