Brett Shaves is a real estate professional with over two decades of experience, during which time he has served in leadership positions for several firms. In addition, Brett Shaves has co-founded organizations in the industry, such as Newport Commercial, LLC, where he has served as president since 2004.

With the commercial construction and development firm, he manages the construction management and architecture and engineering teams while also overseeing the purchase of new development sites. In addition, he is responsible for creating relationships with city and municipal authorities to approve Newport Commercial’s projects.

Mr. Shaves is also the former president of the Emerald Pacific Corporation, which he owned from 2009 to 2018. With the general contracting firm, he specialized in tenant improvements, with many of these being focused on Wells Fargo retail outlets alongside other privately-held commercial premises.

Before his real estate career, Brett Shaves attended UCLA, which he graduated from in 1991 with a bachelor of arts in political science and history.
