A student at John Hopkins University, Brett Wilzbach is pursuing an online master of science degree in data science, where he is focusing on programming and statistics. Alongside this, Brett Wilzbach holds a bachelor of science in finance, which he earned from Boston College in 2006.
While pursuing the degree, which he earned summa cum laude, Mr. Wilzbach studied in London for a semester to gain experience in international finance and received the Carroll School of Management Outstanding Student award.
Outside of academia, Brett Wilzbach is a portfolio manager at the Paloma Partners Management Company, which he joined in 2014. He is also involved with DEFY Ventures, a role in which he regularly travels to New York City to tutor adults in math and programming skills as they look to enter the Lambda School.
In addition, he has a history of volunteering with Hill House and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Boston. Active in various physical pursuits, Mr. Wilzbach is a former ice hockey player and enjoys golfing.
