Brian Hazlett has worked with Millersville University since 2013 and initially served as its director of undergraduate admissions, a role he held for several months. After this, Brian Hazlett briefly became the university’s interim associate provost of enrollment management before being named vice president for enrollment management.
He then served in the role for two years, following which he became vice president for student affairs and enrollment management. In the position, he oversees 13 departments and aims to maximize student recruitment and graduation. With Latino students, for example, Mr. Hazlett has improved retention by 14 percent.
He has also overseen the development of Millersville University Intercultural Center while expanding diversity initiatives with incoming classes. Throughout this time, Brian Hazlett has managed a $26 million budget and increased revenues through several measures. Through a per-credit tuition policy, he generated an additional $9.1 million for the university.
Alongside his position, he is pursuing a doctor of education at Northeastern University.
