A leadership presence in the US military for 14 years, Cameron Tygett is a Virginia-based Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal winner who has overseen the successful throughput of cargo, equipment, vehicles and personnel. While aboard the USS Arlington, Cameron Tygett was a driving force in enabling amphibious operations of sailors and marines across five countries’ armed forces. He also has experience as a logistics chief at Base Camp Lejeune in North Carolina and participated in Operation Enduring Freedom activities in 2010.

Tygett maintains a strong community involvement in addition to his logistics-leadership activities, and he formerly engaged as a substance abuse control officer with the Marine Special Operations Support Group from 2013 to 2014. In 2006, Tygett received a Letter of Appreciation for his volunteer efforts with a Singapore community-relations initiative as part of Project Handclasp Singapore. At this time, he helped package and sort donated English books for distribution to children across Southeast Asia, which enabled them to further their education. In his free time, he enjoys family activities such as camping in the Pisgah National Forest in western North Carolina.

Cameron Tygett currently serves as a combat cargo assistant at Naval Station Norfolk in Virginia, where he regularly achieves a 25 percent increase in load and offload processes.
