For nearly 100 years, Camp Caribou has provided boys ages 7-15 with unforgettable summer camp experiences in Winslow, Maine. Campers participate in a suite of athletic, creative, and wilderness activities designed for boys of all ages and skill levels. Athletic opportunities at Camp Caribou include land sports, such as baseball and lacrosse, water sports, such as fishing and sailing, and a complete ropes course supervised by trained instructors.
Creative activities at Camp Caribou are conducted in the newly renovated arts and crafts facility located on the lakefront. Under the direction of the camp’s arts counselors, boys can explore disciplines, such as woodworking, culinary arts, magic, music, and digital photography. Additionally, budding thespians have an opportunity to develop acting skills through Camp Caribou's theater program.
Located on a 200-acre peninsula surrounded by private lakefront property, Camp Caribou employs a professional staff that maintains an enthusiastic, supportive environment for all campers regardless of age or skill level while devoting themselves to the safety and well-being of the campers. A team of skilled nurses and an on-call doctor are always available to campers, while an on-campus chef and culinary staff work seven days per week developing healthy menu options that incorporate local ingredients.
