Located on scenic Cape Cod, Camp Farley offers children day and overnight camping experiences that include a full range of traditional outdoors and arts-and-crafts activities. Students are encouraged to develop a sense of leadership and group responsibility while learning skills that increase their self-reliance. As part of the Camp Farley community, campers perform assigned tasks to take care of their sleeping quarters and surroundings.
Each day at Camp Farley begins with reveille and a flagpole ceremony, followed by breakfast and cabin cleanup. After the day campers arrive, everyone gathers at Council Grove and selects electives for the day. Activities are broken into age groups, with 6-to-8-year-old Discoverers taking a daily free swim and participating in the elective barnyard and arts-and-crafts programs.
In addition to daily swims, older campers can specialize in a specific camp area over the entire week. Popular offerings include Outdoor Living Skills and the Ropes Challenge Course. The latter program includes elements such as low and high ropes, a zip line, a climbing wall, and a multiline bridge.
