Carl Buhler is a retired US Air Force Brigadier General. He served over 28 years on active-duty in the US Air Force. His Air Force biography is available at https://bit.ly/2AN3DVD.
Currently, he is the CEO of Buhler Consulting, LLC (https://buhlerconsulting.com), a consulting company that provides consulting services focused on production, aircraft maintenance and logistics.
While active-duty, Carl was the Hq PACAF Director of Logistics and the Hq ACC Director of Logistics, Engineering, and Force Protection.
While at ACC, he worked with a veteran team in directing the infrastructure investment program and also guided logistics, supply, sortie production, and aircraft maintenance functions. Carl Buhler’s sustained efforts helped ensure maintenance, overhaul, and repair activities ran efficiently and effectively.
Mr. Buhler’s experience with the US Air Force extends to the early 1990s where he gained key experience during his deployment to the cease-fire phase of Operation Desert Storm. In the late 2000s, he served as commander of the 379th Expeditionary Maintenance Group in Southwest Asia where he supported Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom.
Earlier in his career, he served with the Thunderbirds’ Air Demonstration Squadron as the team’s maintenance officer. Later, while a squadron commander in 2005, he led his squadron to earn the U.S. Air Force Maintenance Effectiveness Award in the fighter aircraft category.
Carl Buhler is a member of the Air Force Association, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the American Legion.
