A socially-conscious and philanthropic student who attends Seattle's TOPS Elementary, Cash Guts was awarded the school's Humanitarian Award in 2016 for donating money earned through his ninth birthday to support Syrian refugees. The year prior, Cash Guts was the recipient of the annual Drum Major for Justice Award for his contributions to Seattle's homeless community.
Prior to TOPS, Cash attended class at Lowell Elementary School, where he was a two-time Student of the Month. In addition to his regular studies, he is a member of the National Speech and Debate Association and the Young Archaeologist Club.
When he isn't working toward reaching academic of philanthropic goals, Cash enjoys taking road trips with his family and hiking through national parks. He has traveled throughout Europe, camped in various parks in the Pacific Northwest, and climbed Washington State's Bandera Mountain. His other extracurricular interests range from hip-hop music and skateboarding to non-fiction books detailing Egyptian history.
