Charles “Charlie” Piermarini is a retired financial executive who has held leadership positions spanning North America. As executive managing director with BMO Capital Markets, he oversaw a spectrum of debt products and debt capital market positions worldwide. Charlie Piermarini also managed fixed income trading and sales, as well as money market activities.
With professional experienced extending to the late 1970s, Charles Piermarini started his career with Harrisdirect, a direct brokerage. He subsequently accepted a position in London with the BMO organization and also worked for the firm’s Toronto office in the late 1980s. His areas of focus included money markets and the trading and sale of derivatives.
Earning his bachelor’s degree in economics magna cum laude at Washington University in St. Louis, Mr. Piermarini completed an MBA at the University of Chicago. He continues to maintain a connection with his alma mater as part of Washington University’s Chicago Regional Cabinet.
