An administrative leader with experience in multiple fields and sectors, Christopher Bianco Arellano holds a doctor of education from Pepperdine University and masters of arts in both social work and urban planning from the University of Southern California. Building on work with California educators unions that began with United Teachers Los Angeles in the early 2000s, Christopher Bianco Arellano has served the past two years as executive director with Tri-City Educators and its affiliated organizations the National Education Association, and the California Teachers Association.
When he isn’t busy with Tri-City Educators, he is active in the political arena as founding vice president of Avance Democratic Party. This Los Angeles-based organization supports the campaigns of various Democratic candidates, supports progressive propositions, and spearheads voter registration efforts in key political races. Christopher B Arellano also sits on the City of Los Angeles East Area Planning Commission as its past appointed president.
