With over four decades of legal experience, Christopher Hood Little is a retired lawyer who continues to serve as a legal consultant and neutral arbitrator and mediator. In early 2020, he retired from the full-time practice of law, as a partner in the regional law firm, Pierce Atwood LLP, where he had served for 6 years following its merger with Little Bulman Medeiros & Whitney PC, a prominent boutique law firm founded by Mr. Little in 1993.

Throughout his career Mr. Little has also served as a leader of a number of prominent Rhode Island organizations, such as South County Hospital, Neighborhood Health Plan, and Save the Bay. His active involvement in support of his community has continued, with his service on the board of directors of the Rhode Island Airport Corporation, a position requiring appointment by the Governor and consent of the State Senate, his service as vice chair of the board of Tides Family Services, Inc. and his leadership of the board of the South Kingstown Housing Authority, among other organizations.

He is also the vice-chair of the board of directors at Tides Family Services. Alongside social services and the environment, he has worked to improve educational initiatives across the area and is a former board member at the South Kingstown Education Foundation.
