An accomplished international executive, Christopher Carmicle serves as a member of the board of directors for Republic Bank (RBCAA), the largest locally owned community bank in Kentucky. With 45 banking centers across several states, the bank manages more than $4.8 billion in assets. In addition, for more than seven years, Christopher Carmicle has served as board member and chairman of strategic planning committee for independently owned pump manufacturer Zoeller Company. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Polywood, the leading manufacturer of furniture in the outdoor segment using plastic lumber made with recycled bottle waste from milk and detergent bottles.
Previously, Christopher Carmicle lead DMK Development Group as president, COO, and partner. He also spent more than a decade with Brown Jordan, a leader in the outdoor furnishings industry. As president of the firm, he oversaw all North American manufacturing activities and managed 419 production employees.
Christopher Carmicle holds a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from Bellarmine University. A member of the Bluegrass Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO), he supports the Family Scholar House in helping single-parent students earn college degrees. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, skiing, and wine-tasting with his family. A particular fan of California red wines, he is an investor-owner in Blackbird Vineyards.
