Colonel Ciro Stefano is a military veteran who has held leadership responsibilities with the U.S. Army for nearly four decades, spanning operational theaters worldwide. As the U.S. Army Senior Management Consultant since 2018, Ciro Stefano has provided visionary leadership and strategic management assistance to the NYNG by advising TAG and members of the State Joint Force Headquarters on matters concerning the organization, operational capability, training proficiency, and readiness, and applicant interview processes, while identifying core cost savings for an organization of more than 15,000 personnel.
From 2011 to 2016, Colonel Stefano held the position of the U.S. Army’s Senior Leadership, Learning, and Development Program Director. In this role, he marshaled the efforts of over 50 instructors in developing a curriculum for 4,600+ students which included a pioneering digital training platform. The program prepared Cadets in military tactics and decision-making, as well as Army operations fundamentals and the profession of arms. He also held responsibilities as Director of Military Science for the United States Military Academy at West Point.
A Senior Army Aviator and Airborne Ranger, Colonel Stefano maintains ratings to fly a variety of military helicopters, including the UH-60 Blackhawk, UH-1 Huey, and CH-47 Chinook helicopters. He also holds a range of civilian Federal Aviation Administration ratings and earned aeronautical sciences degrees. Ciro Stefano also holds an MBA, with summa cum laude honor from Webster University.
