Committed to helping his clients improve operational efficiency through innovative technology from his base in Fairfax, Iowa, Charles James “CJ” Goddard prepared for his career by attending Hawkeye Community College, where he earned an associate of science in aviation maintenance in 1997. Later, CJ Goddard joined Johnson Controls as an industrial mechanic with a focus on preventive maintenance on conveyor systems, pumps, piping, HVAC, heat exchangers, and other motor-driven equipment. Working his way up through the positions of senior HVAC technician, Systems Technician II, and account manager, he achieved the position of account executive in 2013. Today, he assists clients across a wide variety of industries as well as maintaining sales objectives in accordance with Johnson Controls’ goals.
To better serve his clients in Fairfax and beyond, Charles J Goddard maintains membership in multiple professional organizations. These include the Mechanical Contractors Association of Iowa (MCAI) and American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). Additionally, he is pursuing a bachelor of arts in technology management at the University of Northern Iowa.
