The recipient of a bachelor's degree in business administration and MBA from CSUSB, Cortland Bohacek earned his master’s degree in real estate development from Columbia University. A certified real estate broker in the State of California, Cortland Bohacek in 1989 became a principal agent for CBCD, a real estate development and consultation company.
Cortland Bohacek later worked as a director of land for Pulte Home Corporation and president of Tusk Real Estate Development, Inc., before becoming chairman and CEO of Norwest Companies, where he managed an investment portfolio featuring residential and mixed-use properties in Idaho and California. He presently serves as president and CEO of Cascade Real Estate, Inc., and principal of 1618 Ventures, which invests in and develops residential properties and medical offices in San Francisco Bay Area.
Mr. Bohacek's interest in the medical field led to his support of numerous innovative businesses, including Zone 2 Surgical and Figure 8 Surgical, which he cofounded and serves as a board member. He is also director and CEO of Serucell Corporation and principal of Intermed Partners.
