A resident of Amarillo, Texas, Craig Gualtiere is the owner of Roasters Coffee & Tea, a coffee and tea chain with a strong top-down, people-first culture. Craig Gualtiere first worked at Roasters as a barista in 1994, then purchased the business four years later. In the beginning, Roasters was a single-shop operation. Over the years, it has expanded to include two new locations along Bell Street and Soncy Road, both in Amarillo, Texas.
Mr. Gualtiere follows a three P’s approach to business: people, product, and pricing. He hires and trains the best people to work at Roasters, creates great-tasting coffee and other beverages, and prices his products strategically to attract clients. He is a hard-working professional, loves learning, and is an active manager who is committed to the small matters just as he is in the big ones. Mr. Gualtiere credits his success to the strong example his mother set for him as a child and the can-do spirit she instilled in him. He also credits the relationships he has built over the years with friends, mentors, and business associates.
Mr. Gualtiere graduated from West Texas A&M University with a degree in communications and was inducted into the university's communications Hall of Fame in 2017. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and drag racing.
