Passionate about cross-cultural exchange and promoting community at a global level, Cynthia La Grou studied at Sonoma State University prior to launching her career in the arts and media in California. After founding Cynesthetic Design, she completed many award-winning projects, providing creative services across a diverse range of industries. Cynthia La Grou also co-produced an award-winning collaborative publishing endeavor known as the Wikiklesia Project.

Ms. La Grou is Co-founder and Marketing Director at Millennia Music and Media, FPC – a leader in the design and manufacturing of audio recording products. With over 30 industry awards, 40,000+ channels in use, Millennia gear is used by thousands of top recording industry clients worldwide.

Ms. La Grou founded the non-profit organization Compathos in 2009 to advocate for issues of global importance and promote action through a variety of arts and media campaigns. Compathos produces an online publishing platform, award-winning films, interactive media, travel expeditions, and screenings and events. Compathos also supports the work of social change artists through their fiscal sponsorship and youth media programs while working with nonprofit networks in combined efforts to effect positive world change through media impact.

In 2016, Compathos launched Films for the Planet – a streaming platform featuring the best in environmental and social impact films on demand.
