An accomplished manager in the defense industry, Daniel Urnick brings more than a decade of experience to his role as a general manager for a government vendor based in Washington, D.C. Daniel Urnick has earned accolades for his leadership efforts with the organization, including being named Team Leader of the Year in 2017.

Mr. Urnick earned a degree in business from California State University, Northridge, before embarking on his career. Outside of his professional life, he is a committed member of the community dedicated to senior citizens and animal welfare. From 2007 to 2012, he volunteered more than 100 hours each year at the West Valley Animal Shelter, and he received the Silver Age Award for his volunteer efforts at local senior living homes from 2010 to 2013.

In addition, Mr. Urnick stands out as a nominee for the 2016 Citizen of the Year Award from the Los Angeles Police Department. The nomination came as a result of an incident in which Mr. Urnick witnessed a man being attacked by a knife-wielding assailant. In response, Mr. Urnick intervened and wrested the knife from the attacker, ultimately saving the victim’s life.
