Drawing on decades of experience in the healthcare industry, Danny McClary serves as the chief financial officer of Community Health Systems. With the Orange Beach, Alabama-based firm, Danny McClary is responsible for optimizing its cash flow and payroll functions, among others.

Mr. McClary has also developed incremental interest income for the firm of more than $325,000. To do so, he optimized the firm’s payroll and treasury functions.

Danny McClary has also worked with the Tallahassee-based Agency for Healthcare Administration, where he was an assistant deputy secretary. Serving in the position for two years, he directed the capitation rate for a Medicaid Managed Care Program across the state valued at $16 billion.

While there, he was also responsible for identifying underpayments of $380 million to managed care plans over several years. By convincing actuaries to reduce their costs, Mr. McClary saved taxpayers $100 million in capitation rates for the 2016 to 2017 fiscal year.
