Dara Chenevert holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where she studied English, linguistics, and history. She also completed a juris doctor at Howard University School of Law in Washington, DC, and earned professional certification through the Society for Human Resource Management and the HR Certification Institute. Dara Chenevert’s history in law practice includes tenures as an assistant state attorney in Miami, Florida, and a contract negotiator for multiple agency labor organizations.

Ms. Chenevert currently leverages her knowledge of labor and employment law as a senior human resource management professional. Her recent accomplishments include directing the Organization Support Division of Hillsborough County, Florida’s Human Resources Department and overseeing business enterprise and safety issues as an interim chief officer with the Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority. Dara Chenevert currently serves as human resources director for the Florida Region of the Internet service provider Frontier Communications.
