Each Verandah will have up to 400 Net Zero stand alone rental residences to be constructed in clusters of 12 called Pocket Neighbourhoods.. Verandah Living is being people - not for cars.

Proposed on greenfield sites on the peripheral of cities, Darrell John Remai and his team will focus on re-zoning, land preservation and sustainability in creating healthy, friendly, rental communities for everyone. Verandah Living is focusing in areas where City Councils have declared a climate emergency and where local housing studies confirm the need for quality rental housing.

Featuring Universal Design Standards, Verandah Living offers individual, compact, private Net Zero houses with sustainable long-term rents. Verandah Living will Project Manage all development aspects including site selections, comprehensive development reviews/approvals, zoning, marketing, construction and installation of utilities, including our own propriety sewage system.

An active business professional outside of his company, Mr. Remai has served as a past board member of Teen Challenge Saskatchewan in Canada, and is a founding board member of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan's downtown business improvement district, The Partnership. Away from work, he enjoys a wide range of outdoor activities and personal interests including fishing, live theater, hiking, cooking, and traveling.
